Flexible to fit your needs. Please note Borough Market is very busy on weekends.
Get ready to discover a world of tastes and that British food doesn’t mean boring!
On this tour of the Borough Market area, you’ll learn about British produce, the slow food movement and the origins of our delicious, fresh and unique fare. See how international flavours have influenced our gastronomy. Plus, of course, you’ll be tasting all of it – this unforgettable experience lasts between 2-2.5 hours, and you will enjoy between 8 and 10 delicious items. Tastings vary based on your tastes and what is fresh and in season and could include oysters, bubble and squeak, sausage rolls and much more.
We can cater the tour to your dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, kosher, halal, gluten-free, and more.
To help you digest, you’ll also explore the streets of Borough around the market with its fascinating stories.
We suggest you do not have anything to eat before the tour as we will make sure you’ll be more than satisfied – think of this as the equivalent of a 3 or 4-course meal.
Please note: You will not be seated on this tour – it is a roaming experience. Some areas of the market do not allow guiding.
You can also combine this tour with our Tower of London private tour, St Paul’s Cathedral private tour or enjoy our Tate Modern private tour with us for a whole morning or afternoon experience.
We also offer private food tours of Brick Lane and East End of London daily – on this tour you’ll discover how immigration has influenced our palate today. Typically tastings vary but may include handmade chocolates, samosas, beigels, roasted on site coffee, fish and chips with 8-10 tastings per experience.
We also offer wine tours, beer tastings, honey and afternoon tea making experiences, chocolate tasting tours and much more – all private food tours and all completely catered to you. Get in touch and we will make some suggestions.
Our guide, Catherine, was a warm, charming gal. Such knowledge and sense of fun! We laughed for hours! She also brought us to Borough Market and we ate until we were going to bust! An experience not to miss!
