EXCELLENT Based on 167 reviews sarah Uranowski18. May, 2025 We had the BEST two days with Rowan through Private London Tours. We spent a busy day around London seeing all the major sights as well as museums and the London Tower, and then a picturesque day in the Cotswolds. Rowan was very knowledgeable, gave us exactly what we asked for (lots of history and guidance on day 1, more time to explore on our own on day 2), and his dry sense of humor kept us cracking up. He planned a very thoughtful day in the Cotswolds where we arrived at the popular location much earlier than the "big" tour busses and were already on our way out of town as it became very busy, and spent the rest of the day in gorgeous locations not overrun by tourists. Worth the investment in a wonderful trip - thanks Rowan and Gio! Amanda Euen9. May, 2025 We booked with Private London Tours in 2022 and again in 2025. A quick shout out to Gio with whom we worked to arrange these tours. Gio is very responsive and an excellent communicator. You know exactly what you're getting on the tour thanks to Gio's detailed information. On our recent visit we toured with Michael as our guide on a 4 hour walking tour of Westminster Abbey and Churchill's War Rooms. Michael is an engaging guide who provides just enough historical information to give your a good understanding of what you're seeing without overkill on history. He has a great sense of humor and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We also booked a day long tour of Cotswold with Chris, a guide that we liked so much in 2022 that we asked for him again this time. Chris is very knowledgeable but doesn't overwhelm you with a lot of historical facts that you'll never remember. He is a great conversationalist and kept us engaged on the drive to and from the Cotswold area. When we return to London in 2026 we will be asking for Chris to take us on another adventure. April, 2025 Gio was super helpful and our guides were great! Dakin Gunn29. April, 2025 I had an incredible half-day private tour through Luxury Private Tours with Aaron as my guide. The experience was informative, insightful, fascinating, and thoroughly enjoyable. We explored an underground Roman forum, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War Rooms (with a guided tour), the Bank of London Financial Museum, and the financial center of London — it was a remarkable blend of ancient history and modern political context. Aaron was exceptionally knowledgeable, blending deep historical insights with current events in a way that made the entire tour both engaging and easy to digest. His humor and lighthearted approach made the day feel lively and approachable, even as he covered a ton of information. Walking through such a beautiful city while learning so much made for an unforgettable experience. Booking through Luxury Private Tours was also seamless, reasonably priced, and a true pleasure. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a top-tier private tour experience in London. 5/5 stars. Sheri Edewaard22. April, 2025 Can't say enough good things about our experience with Gio at Private London Tours! wonderful trip planning and communication leading up to the trip. He was super helpful with recommendations based on our schedule and the Easter holiday. Both our guides, Monica and Joanna were wonderful. My girls loved both days of tours. They were so kind, informative and accommodating with our jet lag! We will definitely be using Private London Tours for our Paris trip as well! Haley Manulik31. March, 2025 Our tour was incredible! From the beginning, Gio was fast to respond and easy to work with. He had great ideas that helped us see alot of the city with little time. Our tour guide, Catherine, was incredible, too, and we loved our time with her. She gave us interesting history facts while also making it fun for the kids. We all enjoyed it immensely. Thanks for everything Gio and Catherine! When we come back, you'll be the first people we plan with! Amber Zins30. March, 2025 Gio was amazing at helping us plan the best trips for our time in London. He helped plan the best days to ensure our 9 and 11 year olds had a great time. Each guide knew facts about our kids and tailored our tours to stuff that interested them. Our kids loved it and we had such a great time. It was so easy to have someone else help plan it all. Thanks Gio and team! Javier Figueroa28. March, 2025 Amazing private tour of Stonehenge, without having to take a bus or deal with the crowds. We also had a very informative guide named Aaron, who showed us around and gave us all the history. I would highly recommend this tour!! Betsy Minnich12. March, 2025 Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our trip through the East End with Harry and Simon. The food choices were fun but even better was the information on the history of Brick Lane and discussions about the street art and markets. I highly to recommend.
