EXCELLENT Based on 179 reviews Posted on Kam Lemberger28. July, 2025 I was privileged to have two fabulous guides while in London . The first guide was Mike who took me and my husband on an all day tour to Oxford and Blenheim Palace, culminating in a visit to Sir. Winston Churchill’s grave . Mike is extraordinarily knowledgeable . He has beautiful articulation and a keen sense of humor . His history of Oxford and her colleges and buildings is tremendous . He also took us to a fantastic tavern in Oxford for lunch that we might have missed otherwise . We were so privileged to have him as our guide for that tour as well as for the private tour of the Battle of Britain bunker . His history is thorough and astute . He is an extraordinary guide! For our private visit to the Churchill War Rooms and Museum, we were guided by Paul, who is an amazing Churchillian scholar. Like Mike, Paul is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and funny. He shared insights on Churchill’s life that we hadn’t been aware of before. Compassionate, considerate, unbelievably polite , and kind, Paul is a fabulous guide . I cannot recommend these two wonderful guides highly enough. They made our chosen tours when in London positively wonderful and when we return, we hope to be able to use them again .Posted on Jennifer Day25. July, 2025 Rob was a great tour guide-learned & saw things at the British museum we would have missed. He really knew his history & made it fun for my teenage kids to listen to. I highly recommend!!Posted on giuseppe omegna22. July, 2025 Gio is the very best and the guides are outstanding! Very well planned, high energy and entertainingPosted on Stephanie Camillo12. June, 2025 Joanna, our tour guide, and Shorof, our driver provided a memorable day touring London. Their experience, professionalism, hospitality, and joy created a day of adventure. We will definitely recommend this company to others and use again it in multiple cities. It is worth every penny.Posted on Shellie O'Rear24. June, 2025 Highly recommend Private London Tours! Gio made everything so easy, was quick to respond to every question & helped plan the trip of a lifetime. The tour guides were fantastic, so knowledgeable & friendly and the car service was top notch! Will definitely use them again for future travel!Posted on Ann Sherman5. June, 2025 Gio set 3 of us up with Monica and Shorof and we could not have been happier. We took a private tour of Bath and the Cotswolds, driving from London. Monica showed around a cute Cotswolds village and gave us a tour of Bath with tea at the pump room. She felt like an old friend right from the beginning and her knowledge of history and culture is extensive. Not a question she couldn't answer. We were in a roomy mercedes v-class and in excellent hands with our driver Shorof. Thank you Gio, Monica and Shorof!Posted on randye snyder30. May, 2025 We loved our recent London and Cotswolds region tours with Private London Tours. To start with Gio, the director, was wonderful to work with in setting up and planning our tour days. He was so responsive and worked with us quickly and efficiently to put together three tour days, two in London with me, my husband, daughter and son-in-law, one for me and my husband to the Cotswolds. He was a pleasure to work with. And for our London tours our tour guide was Chris W and for Cotswolds our guide was Ildi. The tours themselves were so interesting and well-planned with London focus on Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Churchill War Room, and the Cotswolds villages we visited were beautiful and charming, a lovely day. Both Chris and Ildi were great to be with, and enjoyed our time with them. Both so knowledgeable and perfect at understanding our desires and needs, and the pace we were comfortable with … truly tailored to make our tours interesting and comfortable and rewarding.Posted on Olivia R29. May, 2025 My parents and I enjoyed 3 incredible days of touring with Mark as our guide and Shorof as our driver. We visited Bath/The Cotswolds, Stonehenge/Windsor, and parts of London. I had contacted Gio personally as bookings for our desired dates were not open yet (I love to plan as much in advance as possible), and he was more than happy to accommodate us early. More importantly, he was able to personalize everything so we would see all the desired sights in the correct order and on the correct days. That REALLY made a difference in our experience once we arrived! In just those 3 days, we can confidently say we have become so appreciative of London's history and beautiful scenery. Mark's knowledge of every sight was astounding and he made us feel very welcome as visitors. It was wonderful getting to know him as a person in addition to his guiding expertise. For the sights we were not able to see together, he did not hesitate to give us recommendations based on everything we had talked about. I made a note of everything, and we were able to check some off during our remaining days in London. We are already very excited for our next holiday in the UK and will be booking again with Private London Tours. Thank you so much Gio and Mark!Posted on susan birdsey29. May, 2025 Gio and Joanna were great! We had a nine hour layover at Heathrow. Gio did a great job organizing it all for us. Joanna was there waiting for us and we were off on a great tour of London! Joanna was an awesome tour guide! Worth every penny!
