Our elite car tours of London are fully tailored to your desires, so you can see the London attractions that interest you the most. Our chauffeured London car tours include a private tour guide, plus a separate driver. Relax! We’ll meet you – at your hotel or apartment anywhere in downtown central London. Or we can meet you at the airport or cruise terminal, taking the hassle out of transfers (additional charge applies).

This is a fully customisable tour, but if you’re unsure about what to do, we can help. Here is an example itinerary:

• Begin the day with the Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Your guide will tell you all about the Royal Family, and maybe share a secret or two.
• Visit Parliament Square, home to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Enjoy a fully guided tour inside Westminster Abbey or the Churchill War Rooms with your private licensed Blue Badge guide.
• Time for lunch. Fancy a pub over 350 years old, a food market, a quick sandwich and coffee break or a restaurant? Travel in comfort in your private, air-conditioned vehicle
• In the afternoon, options include a guided tour of the Tower of London, home to the incredible Crown Jewels (note: no guiding inside the Jewel House). Alternatively, explore the ‘City of London’ financial district and tour St Paul’s Cathedral.
• After a fantastic day exploring the city, we’ll drop you off at to your destination of choice.

If you are on a London layover tour from Heathrow Airport or Gatwick Airport, we’ll take you back for your flight. Or, if you are here on a private London cruise layover tour, we can take you back to Plymouth, Southampton, Dover, Tilbury or other ports near London (additional charges apply).

Jo was our tour guide for three different tours (Hampton Court, The Tower of London, and Westminster Abbey).  We enjoyed all of the tours, and definitely learned/noticed things we would not have if we had done these on our own.  Jo was an excellent tour guide — very knowledgeable and easy going. Chris was our tour guide when we visited Hampton Court, and he was fantastic. His knowledge went far beyond the parts of the palace you normally see, he knew the stories, history, and fascinating details about areas most visitors would never even know about. Highly recommend London Private Tours - was wonderful from the planning to the execution and so many happy wonderful memories. Guide had wit and geared it to the 5 tween/teens and also answered our more in-depth questions too from Westminster Church to the Tower  and tied in everything so well. As I was searching for a private tour guide in London that included car service, I came across Private London Tours. From the very beginning, Gio made the experience feel personal, and communication was always easy and responsive. Geo was responsive and I always appreciate that! He helped us set up exactly what we wanted. Charlotte was our guide and she was amazing as well! She made sure our day was spent as we wished. We chose where we went and how long we stayed. I loved that she asked what type of information we wanted wanted to hear - history, facts, fun stories - at each location. I booked two London tours with Private London Tours - one of the Tower of London and one full day tour that included a visit to Westminster Abbey and a private VIP tour inside the Churchill War Rooms. Both tours were fabulous! Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and shared fun facts for both adults and kids. The war rooms are a definite must! I can't recommend this company enough.
