See the best of Edinburgh with us on this half or full day private tour. You’ll see classics such as Edinburgh Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, the Old Town, the Palace of Hollyroodhouse, The Royal Mile and much more in a morning or afternoon. It’s the perfect day in the Scottish capital.

You can also optionally extend your tour to see the Georgian New Town, tour the Scottish National Art Gallery, or even the National Museum of Scotland. A final option – if you have your hiking shoes on – is to climb Arthur’s Seat for a panoramic view of the city.

A car can be added for an additional charge but is generally not recommended as the city centre is so compact and best seen on foot.

Had a wonderful private tour with Ron to the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Ron was unbelievable. The amount of history and information he has about every square foot of these locations is astounding. He was very personable and even took pictures of us throughout the tour. He knew exactly where to focus and timed everything so perfectly. Such a great way to end our trip in London.

What a wonderful introduction to the city of London. Everything about my experience booking with Gio was effortless. He answered all of my questions promptly and arranged a private, full-day tour that included Changing of the Guard, The Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Our guide, Charlotte T, was not only delightful, but impressively knowledgeable about all things London. She ensured the day went off without a hitch. A great tour! Private London Tours was able to put together a tour that worked for us. Started with a pickup at the Sofitel Hotel in Heathrow, then a tour of Windsor Castle, lunch, transport to London, a driveby tour of sites in London and then a tour of the crown jewels and London Tower. Charlotte was excellent and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. At the end of the day she walked us to the train station with directions on taking the train back to Heathrow and our hotel. Communication was great regarding where to meet, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had an incredible day tour with Gavin. Born and raised in London, he was a wealth of information and knew every alley of the city. He was an absolute joy and his knowledge of everything we saw was incredible. We walked from our hotel to the Tower of London - on the way he showed us many old sights of London and pointed out some locations where Harry Potter was filmed, which wasn't part of our tour. We then took a black cab to Westminster Abbey where he continued to be an excellent tour guide. He chose an amazing place for us to have lunch (a traditional pub) before we headed to the Churchill War Rooms. Again, his knowledge was detailed and well delivered. He was simply amazing and everything about this tour was excellent, I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Tuvimos un día muy agradable en nuestro paseo, guiados por Joanna. Es un tour intenso, ya que fueron casi 12 horas, pero valió mucho la pena. La salida de Londres fue a las 7:30, y nos tomó casi 3 horas llegar a Bath. Las explicaciones de Joanna durante el trayecto y al estar en los lugares fueron interesantes y profundas. Se nota que sabe y que ama lo que hace. Nuestro chofer, Shoroff, también fue muy amable, y se detenía donde fuese necesario. Luego fuimos por la campiña inglesa hacia The Cotswolds, de los que visitamos Lacock (a media hora de camino desde Bath), y finalmente Castle Combe, un lugar minúsculo que parece sacado de un cuento.
