Aaron (and the entire Private London Tours team) is (are) the B-E-S-T! We are still commenting on the great time on our tour. WE walked and HE talked. Outstanding service, fun and interesting history and an absolutely entertaining experience. We have toured cities throughout Europe from northern Germany to the southern tip of Greece. This experience was the best! We will be calling Private London Tours next time we are in town!
Don’t hesitate in booking a tour. Save time and learn so much from a private tour guide. Aaron was an encyclopedia of information providing in-depth knowledge of London as we shuttled from site to site. He was humorous and very accommodating to our needs. He made the tour enjoyable. We only had one day in London and they picked us up at the hotel in the morning and dropped us off at the airport for our late day flight. Best way to see the city!
The whole team was organised, attentive to every need and overly accommodating. The wealth of knowledge from Dani (our blue badged guide) was simply amazing. We visited Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London – both which are well worth 2+ hours of fascinating history. The driver allowed for stops along the way so we could take in Big Ben, Parliament and a number of other local sites.
Would highly recommend a private guided tour again and may do another myself but different sites.
It has been a while that I wanted to visit the Tower of London and Churchill War Rooms, besides few other attractions, but could not find the right moment either being scared off by tremendous crowds or not having my 12 year old son with me – who may be an even more avid learner on the tour. I also could not find the right match in terms of our interests and tours on offer – until I came across Private London Tours. We have had a very useful pre-tour exchange, which helped us choose the main areas of interest and concentrate on those, which made the tour very effective and to the point. To sum all up, we are very happy to have met our guide and have him tour us in the Tower of London, including Crown Jewels exhibition and Churchill War Rooms, not to mention the very many other stories on the way from pone location to the other and his overall very helpful and thought through approach. My son was highly impressed – and one needs to have the art of telling in order to keep kids interested and at the same time not to tire them up with too much information – and I believe we had just that blend. Once our guide got to know us a bit better in the starting part of the tour, he adapted just the right approach. And besides his deep knowledge of history, culture and ethnography, he has a great sense of humour, which is an invaluable add on to the otherwise fulfilling and satisfying experience. We will come back for more!
